Zelda Ocarina of Time Review
Intro
First introduced to the N64 in 1988, Zelda Ocarina of Time was the rage so to speak, back in the day. Elaborate game music, a broad display of land (hyrule), and even the ability to ride a horse brought a good presence to the game.
Review
Zelda Ocarina of time set on the Hyrule kingdom, which consists of many different races within different areas in the game; Hylians, Gorons, Zoras, Kokiri, and Gerudo. The game starts off with Link being woken by Navi from a nightmare. The scene before this shows the nightmare as a person on horseback and Ganon is hurtling around, chasing Princess Zelda. You as the hero are supposed to save Hyrule from Ganon (as always).
The game consists of numerous puzzles in order to get through dungeons and such. The amount of sophisticated dungeons varies. Some dungeons take little to no thought to complete while others take more time to get around. Having said that, the game is quite a bit of a challenge which in fact is a good thing for making a good game. Each dungeon has a variety of items as well which range from rupees and hearts to weapons and utilities. Your inventory also consists of an Ocarina which is used countless of times in the game ranging turning night to day, to even calling your horse (and so forth). The game also consists of a variety of monsters that reflect on the type of terrain your on like skull knights in the night while crossing through the fields of Hyrule.
The game has allows 3 save files (which is awesome) and bundle of awesomeness. Controlling link with the N64 controller is rather easy and takes a petite amount of skill to get the hang of it. The game is difficult (without a guide) if not paid close attention to, in other words reading directions and such to get through dungeons or help around villagers in certain villages. Controls for attacking, walking, running, rolling around on terrain, and riding your horse are quite easy to handle.
The appearance of the game is fantastic. Various landscapes in the game are a vibrant view. The game music is sumptuous and quite catchy as well in various villages in the game (can't get them from the top of my head meh). The game consists of many sounds of Link, mostly grunts such as (HIII-YAHHHHH!) and so on which is quite funny at times.
Conclusion
Zelda Ocarina of Time is by far the best Zelda game that I have played; you can play it once and want to play it over and over and over again. The game consists of the best art of its time. The game is highly recommended by many and loved by all Nintendo fans.
