Review

The game starts off with Mario receiving a letter from Peach to arrive at her castle to receive a gift. Mario arrives at the castle only to discover that the place has been muddled by Bowser, who is in a huge spacecraft/UFO thing hovering over the castle. Bowser takes the area and Peach with him while Mario chases him. Bowser leaves and Mario stares off into despair. Afterwards, encountering a creature named Luma, a star fish like thing thats...not really a star fish. The Luma's so to speak, are led by an outlandish woman named Rosalina. The Luma's and their leader so to speak, live on an area that appears to be a comet observatory. Your job as Mario is to capture all the stars from various planets and soon save Peach from vile Bowser.

The controls for the game are quite simple and laidback. Mario is quite easy to navigate through various planets without a hassle. The controls for attacking, jumping, and talking to other characters are placed in a fashioned order on the Wii-mote. The camera views for the game have no strain and nuisances. Health, air-gauge, and the other modules are placed on contented spots of the screen which allow you to have a full experience of landscapes and planets in the game. Having said that this game is direct and easy to get through such as inventory, etc...

The creatures in the game can get irritating at times and bothersome if you're trying to get on top of particular platforms and such to get somewhere. Some creatures can block you from certain areas to which you have to either jump over them because some tend to be slow.

Planets in the game don't start off too difficult until rather the middle of the game until the final fight against Bowser. Most of the levels are enjoyable and most are freebies in a sense where you get obtainable stars that take no effort to achieve them. Rather some have more difficulty, where you must actually get through puzzles and some can be brainteasers. Overall the planets and levels are quite easy if you know what you're doing.

The games appearance is outstanding. Levels, areas, and landscapes are in vibrant display. Bright colors, well positioned areas and loads of levels. Creatures are made nicely and the 3-D platform is exceptional. Overall this game is excellent and I'd highly recommend getting it if you've haven't gotten it.
