Pokemon Gold and Silver Review

Intro

Pokemon Gold and Silver where classic Pokemon games back in the day. I myself, use to be obsessed with the ongoing changes from Red, Blue, and Yellow. The games format was quite enjoyable the reason why was that it was the First Pokemon game to change from day to night which was quite interesting. As well as the new evolutions of certain Pokemon such as Eevee which turns into Espeon and Umbreon from training day or night.

Story

The game starts out in your home town, New Bark Town in which you'll be able to chose your three starters; Chikorita, Totodile, and Cyndaquil. The unique part of the game is the ability to go from region to region and what I mean by this is the ability to go from Johto to Kanto. Other added features are the ability to catch Suicune, Raikou, and Entei. You are frequently battling your rival from time to time in specific area's of the Johto region and final battle around the time you get to the Elite 4. Another well known appearance in the game is the appearance of Team Rocket which is quite frequent throughout the game.

Gameplay

You as a Trainer, must battle your way to become #1 and if you have time Catch em' All :P . Your job is to defeat all eight gym leaders in Johto, as well as all of the 8 gym leaders in the Kanto region, and finally defeat the Elite four .

Graphic's,Appearance, and Features

Pokemon Gold and Silver, pixel like as it is, the game brings great memories to fan of all ages. The game (if put in a light room) can be seen with complex colors and the ability to see everything in a 2-D format. With an additional 251 more Pokemon added to the game there's all sorts of training methods and abilities/moves to learn in this game.

Overall

The game was very well made actually, I love the scenery of the cities even though it was pretty much in 2-D not that 3-D could of been applied to the game....but yeah.., the game is very extensive it takes almost a day or two to play it if you play extensivley. A very enjoyable game indeed.
